Structure Definitions
Enhancer: Enhancer structures price bushels over time at a fixed price, unless a KO level is touched, in which case any unaccumulated bushels and any extra quantity not yet triggered are cancelled.
Amplifier: Structure that generates sales over time at a fixed price every pricing day that the futures price is above the trigger level. If the futures price settles at or below the trigger on the pricing day, nothing is priced for that period.
Originator Plus: Originator structures price bushels over time at a fixed price, unless a KO level is touched, in which case any unaccumulated bushels are priced at original futures price (any extra quantity not yet triggered is cancelled). Plus denotes that the double up is based on the futures price at expiry for a quantity equal to the initial bushels.
Common Terms
Plus Quantity (Euro Double, or Double Up): Additional quantity done at the expiry of a structure based on a final futures price.
Reserve Quantity (Daily Double): Additional quantity done on a daily basis.
Stop Protect: Price level limiting a producer’s downside protection, leading to an adjustment of the final accumulated average price.
